Installation Instructions

Washing Machine Hose

  1. Unplug washing machine, turn off water supply.
  2. Remove old washing machine hoses.
  3. Verify the rubber washers are located inside each nut of your Hippohose.
  4. Install one end of the hose to the water supply valve, making sure that cold and hot are matching the hose color (blue = cold, red = hot).
  5. Hand tighten the nut and use the wrench to tighten another 1/4 turn. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
  6. Plug in the washing machine and SLOWLY turn on the water supply while checking for leaks.
  7. Tighten as needed. Run washing machine while checking for leaks.

Y Mixer Hose Connector

  1. Unplug washing machine and turn off water supply.
  2. Remove old washing machine hoses.
  3. Make sure rubber washers are located inside each nut and securely fit.
  4. Connect the "Y" mixer to the water supply valve. Hand tighten plus an additional 1/4 turn using a wrench. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
  5. Connect one end of the hose to the inlet of the washing machine. Make sure to connect the blue hose to cold water inlet and the red hose to warm water inlet. Hand tighten plus and additional 1/4 turn using wrench. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
  6. Plug in washing machine. Slowly turn on water supply and check for leaks. Tighten as needed.
  7. Run washing machine and check for leaks. Tighten as needed.

Dishwasher Hose

  1. Shut off water supply
  2. Install elbow in dishwasher (if applicable. See dishwasher manufacturer installed directions).
  3. Connect hose to water supply.
  4. Hand tighten plus 1/4 turn.
  5. Turn on water supply.
  6. Check for leaks by running dishwasher.

Refrigerator Ice Maker Hose

  1. Shut off water supply at valve.
  2. Install connector to appliance and valve.
  3. Hand-tighten each connection, then 1/2 turn with wrench. DO NOT Overtighten.
  4. Turn on water supply.
  5. Check for leaks

Steam Dryer Kit

  1. Turn off water supply.
  2. Remove washing machine inlet hose from the cold water supply valve.
  3. Connect the inlet adapter (short hose) to the cold water supply valve. Hand tighten plus 1/4 turn using pliers. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Damage to the coupling can result.
  4. Connect "Y" connector to the end of the inlet adaptor (short hose).
  5. Connect the straight end of the long hose to one side of the "Y" connector. Hand tighten.
  6. Connect the washing machine cold water inlet hose to the other side of the "Y" connector. Hand tighten plus 1/4 turn using pliers. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Damage to the coupling can result.
  7. Connect the 90 degree elbow end of the long water hose to the fill valve at the bottom of the dryer. Hand tighten.
  8. Turn on water supply. While the water is running, check for leaks. Tighten couplings slightly to stop minor leaks.
  9. Move the dryer into place and check to make sure there are no kinks in the fill hose.

T-Stop Valve Compression Threaded

  1. Turn off water supply and close the angle stop valve.
  2. Remove the connected 3/8" hose.
  3. Connect Hippohose T-Stop Valve.

Garden Hose Quick Connect Fittings

  1. Before installations, make sure rubber washers are secure.
  2. Thread the male connector onto the water spigot.
  3. Thread the female connector to your hose.
  4. Once attached, pull back on the female connector and slide it onto the male connector to snap it in place.

Vibration Stop Pads

  1. Make sure appliance is level before installation.
  2. Tilt appliance to one side.
  3. Slide pads under your appliance's feet, then lower it back down.
  4. Repeat Step 3 for the other corners of appliacne.
