STORY OF HIPPOHOSE:

Hippohose is a US Owned Small Business based out of Mesa, Arizona specializing in top quality appliance hoses. We offer high-quality engineered washing machine hoses, dishwasher hoses, refrigerator hoses for ice & water, sink valves and various other hose accessories for all your home needs.

Hippohose was established as a small family-owned business with roots in insurance, engineering, design, and quality control. When you buy from us, we are the ones engineering the products, testing the products, and your point of contact, if any problems were to arise.

We initially saw first-hand the need for high quality, reliable hoses in the insurance world. Seeing water damage because of faulty hoses prompted our goal to build a hose company customer could rely on. Nothing was worse than witnessing homeowners pay out of pocket for situations that could have been easily avoided.

We started Hippohose in 2018.  We saw a need for better washing machine hoses, so we engineered the first stainless steel washing machine hoses (instead of rubber) with octagon connections.  These make it easier for you to tighten to your wall and to your washing machine without stripping as opposed to competitors’ circular connections.  We included the top-of-the-line rubber washers to ensure the best possible seal.  We color coded the hoses red and blue so you could easily identify your hot and cold water lines.

We started with straight connection washing machine hoses first.  We then saw a need for washing machine hoses that would better fit tight places.  This is when we engineered hoses with single and double 90-degree angle connections to better fit in between your washing machine and wall.

We next engineered top quality refrigerator hoses and dishwasher hoses with materials that are safe for drinking.  We saw a need for extra-long lengths for these hoses because many refrigerators and dishwashers are much further from your water connection than the 4-8 FT hoses that were standard in the market.
